This keynote panel is sponsored by the Canadian Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (CCR2P). We invite abstracts related to the R2P doctrine. Specifically, we invite interested students to consider Canada's renewed vision of peacekeeping. Other R2P related topics, such as the 2011 intervention in Libya; the plight of record number of refugees around the world; the conflict in Syria; and theories of sovereignty in the face of R2P are also welcome.
Representatives from the University of Alberta's chapter of the Canadian Centre for the Responsibility to Protect are offering a small award for one paper on the panel. Please note that in order to be considered for the award, you will need to specify that you are applying for this panel.
Panel TBD.
